Description

The EPWP: Eco-Guides programme offers participants the opportunity to contribute to environmental conservation and tourism awareness. As an Eco-Guide, you will help educate communities and visitors about local biodiversity, environmental sustainability, and responsible tourism practices. This initiative aims to create temporary work opportunities while equipping participants with valuable skills in environmental education and conservation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct guided tours and provide environmental education to visitors and community members
• Assist in conservation activities such as clean-up campaigns, habitat restoration, and monitoring projects

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate (or equivalent)
• Good communication skills in English and at least one local language
• Interest in environmental conservation, tourism, and community engagement
